What to expect:
How we coach.
Coaching Thesis
Swingtweaks focuses on long-term improvement through small, focused lessons. Our coaching emphasizes 1-2 key areas per tweak, avoiding swing overhauls. We believe most golfers inherantly know how to swing, so we help you understand your motion and its cause and effect. Our PGA Coaches use our video analysis tools to highlight positions, angles, and key concepts like sway, weight shift, and hand path.
Clear
We believe in clarity. Our video analysis tools are used to explain concepts, movements, and positions to golfers in the clearest way possible. We want to teach you about THE golf swing, not just about YOUR golf swing.
We believe this leads to better long term improvement, coaching outcomes and helps you understand your own flaws if/when they resurface.
Specific
We believe in specificity. Our coaches will focus on one or two specific issues each lesson, explaining these issues, the cause, the effect and the why to you. We want you to understand why we are asking you to do what we are asking.
We believe specific instruction, specific drills, and specific direction as to when to come back to us means you feel like you have tasks to accomplish, and a path to accomplishing them.
Consistent
No amount of lessons will make you a better golfer if you can't practice AND if you can't follow up. Golf is a vicious feedback cycle. We don't think golfers need to spend hundreds of dollars on an in person lesson every two weeks.
But we do believe that keeping consistent touch points leads to more practice, more learning and more improvement. One tweak every 6 weeks is plenty.
What we deliver
When you get a Swingtweak you are getting an opinionated framework on how to coach digitally. We have broken down the core parts of each Swingtweak below.
Video Analysis
Submit two videos of your swing, captured from specific angles. Our PGA Professionals will analyze these videos and create a detailed, 7-10 minute narrated lesson with marked-up visuals tailored to your swing. Golfers consistently report tremendous learning and value from this process.
It’s not just about improvement—this exercise is designed to help you understand your unique swing and gain deeper knowledge of golf mechanics.
Notes and Summary
Our notes and summary distill the detailed video analysis into clear, concise bullet points. These highlight your swing thoughts, areas for improvement, and key coaching tips.
This streamlined format is perfect for quick reference and is especially helpful if you want to dive deeper or explore further reading on the areas highlighted during your lesson.
Drills and Exercises
The final step of your lesson is personalized drills provided by our coaches, designed to address the issues highlighted in your video analysis and notes.
These drills are your homework—your opportunity to practice, hit balls, and develop a deeper understanding of the feel, concepts, and cause-and-effect of your swing adjustments. You’ve been educated and given notes—now it’s time to put it all into action.
